Palazzo Tetta: The 'Tetta' of this remote but lovely palazzo of Castello refers to the noble family Tetta who had their residence here. There is a similarly named Ponte delle Tette in sestiere San Polo. This latter bridge was named after the fleshy merchandise displayed by many which was known for an assembly place for prostitution. It seems fashionable in the 21st century to confuse the two. The Palazzo Tetta is the only residence of Venice which has canal on three sides.
